Terms of Use

Last updated 10 October 2026

The rules for using One Quick Try, in plain language.

The service

One Quick Try (onequicktry.com) is a free website of short browser challenges, run by One Quick Try. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it. There are no accounts and nothing to buy.

Results are for fun, not assessments

Challenge results are for entertainment, curiosity and personal comparison. They are not medical, clinical, psychological or professional assessments, they don't measure intelligence, and they must not be used to make decisions about anyone's health, abilities, employment, education or fitness to drive or to do any other task.

Results depend on your device, browser, screen and input method as well as on you (see our methodology). We work to make them accurate but don't guarantee that any result is correct or comparable between devices.

Your health and safety

Some challenges use flashing colour changes, moving objects or sounds. If you have photosensitive epilepsy or another condition that such content might affect, take care or don't play those challenges. Take a break whenever you need one.

Using the site fairly

You may use the site for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment. Please don't:

  • try to disrupt, overload or break into the site or the server it runs on;
  • copy the site, its challenges or its content in bulk, or present them as your own;
  • embed the site in a frame on another website.

Linking to any page of the site is welcome.

Our content

The site's text, illustrations, design and code belong to One Quick Try. The classic puzzles themselves, such as the Tower of Hanoi or the river crossing, are old and belong to nobody; our versions of them, and the way they are presented here, are ours.

Other websites and services

Some pages link to other websites, and the site may use third-party services as described in our Privacy Policy. We aren't responsible for other websites' content or practices.

No warranty

The site is provided free and "as is". We may change, pause or remove any challenge or the whole site at any time, and we don't promise it will always be available or free of errors.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, One Quick Try is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from relying on any result. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you live elsewhere, you keep any consumer protections the law of your country gives you.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site means you accept it. Questions are welcome at onequicktry@gmail.com.
